Dr. Astra Dinculescu was selected to participate in the 2016 AEVR Emerging Vision Scientists Program on September 14-15 in Washington, D.C. She is one of the 22 final participants selected from across the United States to attend the events in Capitol Hill to advocate their science, and present the innovative aspects of their research to members of Congress in order to promote sustained National Institutes of Health funding.
