About Dr. Basso and the Mass Spectrometry Research and Education Center:
Dr. Basso has been conducting research on the proteomic and lipidomics of dry eye disease and meibomian gland disease. As the director of the Mass Spectrometry Research and Education Center at the University of Florida, she provides a valuable resource to complex research needs through access to a wide variety of mass spectrometry instruments, bioinformatic tools and highly trained staff. The MSREC offers both routine services and advanced research based projects.
