Smith Lab

Dr. Smith’s lab is currently working on a variety of projects including defining the biochemistry and cell biology of the interaction of arrestin1 and arrestin4 with novel binding partners in rod and cone photoreceptor cells, control mechanisms regulating the light-dependent translocation of arrestin1 in rod photoreceptors and the modulation of photoreceptor metabolism.
